2022 sees ALAND enter its sixth year as proud major sponsors of the Parramatta Eels, after extending the agreement for a further 3 years in 2021.
As one of the most recognizable partnerships in the NRL, this season is set to further strengthen the relationship between the two organizations.
This year is a particularly important one, as it marks the 75th anniversary of the Parramatta Eels Club’s first official game on 12 April 1947. The match took place as part of what was then the NSWRL Premiership at Cumberland Oval against New town, with the anniversary of this historic event coinciding with this year’s annual Eels Vs Tigers Easter Monday clash.
The NRL season kicks off on March 10, with the Eels taking on the Gold Coast Titans Sunday March 13 at Comm Bank Stadium.
Additionally, ALAND is excited to announce signing on as the major sponsor of the inaugural Parramatta Eels NRLW squad. Proudly supporting the expansion of the women’s division, ALAND recognizes the importance of this not only for rugby league, but women’s sport as a whole.
“The Eels NRLW team is an important step towards growing the game for young girls and we’re extremely proud to be the Major Partner of the Parramatta Eels; both the NRLW side, and the NRL side,” Andrew Hrsto, found of ALAND, said.
The NRLW Eels played their first match against the Newcastle Knights on Sunday 27th February, beating them 13-12 in a nail biting finish that saw Maddie Studdon secure the win with a historic field goal in the final minute.
With the ALAND name proudly emblazoned the jerseys of both the NRL and NRLW Parramatta Eels teams, the company is thrilled to be so closely connected with the Parramatta community.
